Early-morning fire in Upper Fauntleroy
Just after 4 am, a briefly big Seattle Fire response was sent to the 8800 block of 38th SW [vicinity map] in Upper Fauntleroy. SFD spokesperson Kaila Lafferty says the fire was on the stairs and deck of a townhouse – one of several relatively new homes on the block – but firefighters “got it out quickly and started releasing crews.” No injuries. And no word yet on the cause.
